Circled by ocean
Isolating, comforting
Rhythm of the sea
In case you missed it, that’s a haiku. I tried to capture the dichotomous nature of island-life. There’s both an anxiety-provoking isolation and profound comfort about living on an ocean-island. You’re held captive by the whims of the ocean–which in my case can be either lake-flat or winter-tempest stormy. You can’t control a force like the ocean, but you can feed off its energy.

Not sure yet what's going to go in here. Some writing and arts I suppose.
