My father worked for CP Air in the 1970s,when their marketing tagline was “Orange is beautiful.” Clearly their strong marketing practices had a permanent influence on me, as anyone who knows me will tell you that orange is my favourite colour.  After several years of living with a boring white-carpeted, white-walled bedroom, I decided to brighten things up a bit and add some colour. Orange colour, of course, among others.

Two walls are orange, one is dark brown, and the third is taupe. The taupe wall was in need of some dressing, so using the leftover wall paint, I created three designs on canvas; flowers, a tree branch and a bird.
